A sexless marriage is not as uncommon as you might think and learning how to deal with it is essential to your well being.

In order to learn how to deal with a sexless marriage, you must first discover the reason for it. It is a completely different situation if the lack of sex is because of a medical or physical reason or if it is because of a lack of desire.

If you are in a sexless marriage, in which it can't be changed because of a medical or physical reason, you must then decide if you are mentally able to stay in the relationship. If all other aspects of your relationship are good, you may be able to deal with it. Because sex in a marriage is a large part of the intimacy of a relationship, you may have to make up for it in other areas.

You have to decide that you can live in a sexless marriage without anger, resentment or bitterness. If you can not do this, you should consider getting out of the marriage. If you stay, it is not mentally healthy for you or your spouse.
Don't make any quick decisions. Take a lot of time in quiet solitude and really think the whole thing through. Picture your life without your spouse. Will you be happier? Would you miss them? It is also important to discuss the situation openly and without blame with your spouse. Discuss how each of you will deal with the sexless marriage.

If you are in a sexless marriage, in which it can be changed, there is hope that you can get back to the sexual intimacy you once shared with your spouse. There are three common reasons for a sexless marriage. The first is resentment or anger toward your spouse. This is usually built up anger or resentment that has not been discussed or resolved. The quick fix for this is to openly discuss the problems and try to resolve them.

The second one is the boredom of the every day routines of life. You need to get back to the excitement you once had when you first started dating. Take one night out a week and do something different. Have a date night. Have fun with each other. We are all busy, but it will help if you do this. This is one of the best ways for how to deal with a sexless marriage. It works great!

The third cause for a sexless marriage is stress. Every one has it. It can ruin our sex lives though. The more stress we have, the less we want sex. I know it is not easy in this hectic world we live in, but you need to learn to slow down and relax. When you get home, leave your problems outside the door. Make an effort to do it.

The best method for how to deal with a sexless marriage is communication. Nothing will change unless you talk openly and honestly about it. I know it's hard, but it has to be done in order to change your sexless marriage. You can get back to having a great sexual marriage, it just takes some work - make it a priority.
