How Long Does the Average Man Last in Bed?

Many men ask the question, "How long should a man last in bed?"

Let's take a step back and look at the statistics.

On average, most men last anywhere from two to six minutes in bed.  Clearly, this isn't as long as most guys (or their partners) would prefer.

And in fact, twenty to forty percent of all men suffer from this condition at least once in their lifetimes.

Technically, you can consider yourself to have a problem if your sexual partner frequently is unable to achieve climax at least 50% of the time, due to the short length of intercourse.

It comes as no surprise that this can be a very sensitive, embarrassing ordeal for many men.  And this problem can truly ruin a relationship if you do not act swiftly to correct this problem.  While the majority of men do not suffer from severe problems, a significant portion of men have confessed that they would prefer to be able to last longer.
Recently, Men's Health surveyed its readership and found that nearly seventy-five percent of all readers wished they had increased sexual endurance.

Why is this problem so widespread?

The majority of men fail to last longer in bed because of a combination fo both physical and mental causes.  These causes range from poor masturbation habits to stress and anxiety over performance.  The good news is that this is not a permanent problem -- you can train yourself to last longer over time.

If you are interested in how long a man should last in bed, you may also be curious to know how you might improve your own endurance. There are a number of solutions available that purport to be "quick fixes" - including desensitization sprays that decrease your sensitivity and help you last longer.  These products do produce results for many guys; however, their short coming is that they do not directly solve the underlying causes, which are both physical and mental.

Because this problem is so ofted caused by anxiety and other psychological issues, a more effective solution is to fully comprehend all of the various causes so that you can systematically address them, and last longer in bed.

If you've been asking yourself how long does the average man last in bed, then chances are you are looking for tips on how to last longer in bed.
