When it comes to aphrodisiacs and boosting libido, top of the list will probably be to feast on oysters. Research has shown that the zinc present in oysters is essential when it comes to sex. And oysters contain more zinc per serving than any other food. There are many other health benefits associated to zinc but excessive zinc intake also has its acute adverse
effects. These effects include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea and headaches. Needless to say, an oyster overload is not usually the best idea and definitely not the instant fix to get your libido pumping. The good news is that in addition to oysters there are several other sex boosting foods out there.

The humble fruits are nature's gifts to man. Not exactly the most exciting choice but they excel in nourishing, healing and in addition, eating the right fruits also help improve our sex life. You have it right- fruits and vegetables are aphrodisiacs.

Our mind is perhaps the most important element when it comes to sex. Great sex beings in our brains and to have great sex, the process must begin in our mind which explains pornography. Although we may say that it isnot our good intentions to promote it here. To achieve the state of mind forsex, we must firstly, not be bogged down by stress. Be it work, family or health stress. Stress is bad for our general health also kills our mood and dulls
our responses in the bedroom. Stress can also trigger a mild depression and which kills our mood and interest in sex. An obvious case in point, the ever common -"I've a headache". We shall explore ways to cure this ‘headache' permanently.

Fruits that help to combat this stress should be included in our diets. For starters, orange with the vitamin C in them fights the free radicals generated from stress in our system. Other fruits
that are rich in antioxidants include blueberries, plums or cherries follow. These fruits will help to protect our cells and to prevent plaque build-up in the veins and lower cholesterol. This is important because good circulation is essential when it comes to sex and arousal as the blood needs to pump efficiently around our body especially the sexual organs.

To turn the mood up, avocados are the fruits of choice. They are full of vitamin B6 which increases the production of the male hormones, this helps in getting us into the mood. Avocados also contain potassium which helps to regulate the female thyroid gland which in turn controls the female hormones and setting the mood right.

Other foods that can also help to release subtle pheromones in us which are sexual chemicals messages picked up by the opposite sex, similar to bees to honey. In this celery is the food of choice. Celery contains something called androsterone which will boost or trigger sexual desire by releasing desirable scents and signals. You do not need to buy any special
scent to attract your mate, celery will enable your body to secrete your natural scent to do the job.

There you have it, enjoy your fruits
