When Should I Have Sex If I'm Trying To Conceive A Girl Baby? I'll Tell You

I often offer pointers to help couples conceive the gender that they want. I'm commonly asked which time of the month is best for a girl or a boy conception. In the following article, I'll go over ovulation timing and choosing the right time of the month to have intercourse if you're trying to conceive a daughter or baby girl.

Getting A Handle On Your Fertility Window When You Want A Girl Baby: You probably already know this, so please bear with me. But, there is a several day period in your cycle when you're the most likely to conceive. Although most people think that this is mid way through your menstrual cycle, this varies greatly for each woman. And, it can also vary monthly. In other words, when you ovulate and are therefore most likely to conceive this month may be an entirely different day for next month. Some women ovulate earlier in the month and some later (I actually ovulate on day 20, which is late by some standards but it normal for me. ) And, this may flip flop from one cycle to the next.

This variability doesn't mean that it will be harder for you to get pregnant. Not at all. It just means that you'll have to be very accurate about knowing when ovulation takes place. With that said, a man's sperm can survive for a while in your vaginal tract. How long it survives depends upon several things, including whether you are acidic or alkaline and whether you are dealing with X (girl producing) or Y (male producing) sperm. The X live for much longer than the Y. This gives you an advantage because you aren't fighting the clock.

These variables work together to give you around 3 – 5 days to work with. Your first step is getting a good handle on your ovulation day. There are several ways that women will do this. They will use the calendar method, they monitor their basal temperate and their cervical mucus, or they rely upon ovulation predictors. Of the three, I prefer the ovulation predictors because they don't rely on you to make a guess or judgment call. If you can read the screen, then you can determine when you will or if you have ovulated.

Why You Should Have Sex Earlier In The Window If You Want A Daughter: I've already mentioned the fact that the female producing sperm live longer. So, you do have time on your side. You can afford to conceive 3 – 4 days before you ovulate. You want to steer clear of the day of ovulation because the boy sperm will not have died off yet and this is what you want.

Again, many women think about conception in terms of days before or after their period or menstrual cycle. This is not the best way to do it. Instead, think of it in terms of days before and after ovulation.

Another thing that you want to do if you are trying for a girl baby is to avoid orgasm. The fluids associated this will make your vagina more alkaline. You actually want for the opposite to happen. You want to be as acidic as you can because this is unfriendly to a boy conception. You can create this state through a special diet or by douches that raise your PH.

And, you can use intercourse positions that are more shallow. Deep penetration gives the Y's a short distance to travel and you don't want this either.

Conceive A Girl is a website I put together to offer step by step instructions, hints, tips, and resources for couples wishing to conceive a baby girl. You'll find resources for douche recipes and food lists, as well as ovulation predictors and PH test strips. Take a look if you like at http://conceive-a-girl-baby.com/

I'm asked this question quite a bit and I find that the people who are asking are sometimes looking for me to give them a very precise date or day. In other words, I think that they'd like for me to say something like "you should try to conceive a son on Wednesday, the nineteenth at 6:00." Unfortunately, I can't give them this type of precision without more information. But they usually can obtain everything that they need to pinpoint a very precise time line on their own.

Of all of the natural gender selection methods out there, sex or intercourse is probably the most well known and the easiest to achieve, both in terms of timing and the sexual positions that you use. What most people don't realize though is why this works. There is actual science behind this method, which I will discuss in the following article.

I get a lot of emails from women who want to give their partner a son. And many of these moms-to-be want advice on which sexual positions best accomplish this. I'm often asked for "the best position to use to conceive a boy," but the truth is that there's no answer that will work for everyone. You have to consider the height, weight, and build of both you and your partner, but there are several positions from which to chose. I'll discuss this more in the following article.

People who email me often confess that, when they are trying to conceive, they will have sex as much as possible during their fertility cycle so that they have the most chances to actually conceive. Some of them ask if this method will affect or influence the gender of their baby. It can. I will explain why in the following article.

However, there is one variable that many couples will have to make a very conscious effort to complete. This is raising the mother-to-be's vaginal acidity. This is something that doesn't always happen on it's own and sometimes needs a little help and attention. I will discuss why this is so in the following article.

I recently had someone ask me if the mother's stress levels would make her more likely to get pregnant with a boy or girl baby. This person had a very high stress job and was worried that this would keep her from getting pregnant with the girl that she desperately wanted. I'll explore this issue more in the following article.

I often hear from people who want to know if family history plays a role in the gender of their baby. For example, I might hear from a woman who will tell me something like: "I am one of five girls. There were not any boys in my family. So, does this mean that I will definitely have a girl also?" (The answer to this question is no, but I find it very interesting that very few people even factor in how the father-to-be and his own family might play a role.)

I heard from someone who said: "my husband and I are trying to have a boy baby. I've read that we should limit sex until the day that we try to conceive and then have sex as much as we can on the conception day. Is this correct? Is it possible to have too much or too little sex when trying to conceive?" I will try to address these concerns in the following article.

I often hear from couples who want to have sex very frequently in an attempt to become pregnant. They figure that since each instance of intercourse gives them a chance to conceive, why not have intercourse as often as possible so that you will have many separate chances to successfully become pregnant. And many couples do have success with this method. But what happens if you have a preference as to which gender you conceive?

I heard from a woman who had just learned that the timing of her sexual intercourse (as it relates to ovulation) could have an influence on her baby's gender. And, since she thought she may have already conceived, she wanted to know which gender was more likely. She said, in part: "I have been checking for ovulation for the last three weeks. This morning, I actually got a positive. So, I woke my husband up and we had sex."

Most of the questions that I get about choosing your baby's gender concern specifics regarding your regimen before you attempt to have sex in order to conceive. Occasionally though, I hear from someone who has already had what they hope is conception sex and who is, after the fact, trying to influence their baby's gender.

My question is whether anyone has ever had sex on their ovulation day and still had a girl?"

I sometimes hear from couples who are trying to gauge the right time of the month to try to conceive a girl or a boy baby. For whatever reason, many seem to see "the end of the month" as an optimal time. I often hear comments like: "if I have sex and conceive at the end of the month, will I get a girl or a boy baby? What date is best?"

I recently heard from a someone who asked me, in part: "We are trying to conceive a boy baby. I have been told and have read that boy sperm are weaker. And I had a friend suggest that because of this, I should try to conceive in the morning since a man is said to have a higher sperm count in the morning. She also said that she'd heard that men have higher quality sperm after a good night's sleep and after abstaining from sex for the hours that they are asleep. Is all of this true?

'm often asked what foods should be avoided when you're attempting gender selection at home or are trying to chose your baby's gender without an expensive clinic. I'm often asked questions like "what foods should I eliminate from my diet if I'm trying to chose my baby's gender or trying to conceive a boy or a girl?" The answer to that question depends on which gender you are trying for.
