Penile curvature is an abnormal bend in the shaft of the penis, also known as Peyronie's disease. About 4% of the male population have penile curvature. It mainly occurs between the ages of 40 - 60 but has also appeared in men as young as 18.

The symptoms of penile curvature can be some or all of the following:

  • Painful erections or pain during sexual intercourse.
  • A noticeable arc or bend in the penis during an erection.
  • Possible narrowing of an erect penis.
  • Nodules or thick fibrous tissue within the shaft of the penis.

Many men do not need treatment, as in some cases it clears up by itself although this could take some and in most cases years to resolve. For some men the matter doesn't clear up and they need to seek treatment.

Correcting penis curvature can be an arduous task in finding a method that does work. There are several drug treatments for those who suffer from penile curvature from Vitamin E or B- Complex treatments, channel blockers injections and radiation therapy, although none of these actually cures the problem but gives temporary pain relief.

Steer clear of surgery as the risk far out way any successful outcome of this disease. For any noticeable changes in the curve of your penis, have it seen to by your doctor as Peyronie's disease can lead to impotence and hamper any sexual relations.

But there is some light at the end of the tunnel to reverse the effects of penile curvature. The use of a traction device can reverse your symptoms creating a stronger, fitter and straighter penis as well as bringing back your sex life.

A traction device works by exercising and stretching the cells within the penis shaft, increasing the elasticity of any fibrous tissues. These daily exercises can also improve the length and girth of your penis, bringing back a little confidence back into the bedroom and spicing up your sex life.

The traction device has been medically backed and proven for its ability to straighten and cure Peyronie's disease. It can take from as little as a few months up to 12 months to see a noticeable or full change in the look of a bent penis. The added bonus to this method is it's one of the most natural options that doesn't have any side effects while doing. Don't delay any further, if you think you may suffer from penile curvature, get it checked out and look into a traction device and get your sex life back on track.

Peyronie's disease is a severe curvature of the erect penis. It's named after an Italian physician to King Louis XIV of France. This physician was the first to note the disorder back in the 1700s. In some cases of Peyronie's, however, the penis can bend severely left, right, up or down, or even back on itself, making intercourse impossible.

Peyronie's disease is thought to be caused by some kind of trauma to the penis itself which results in a region of scar like tissue which hardens into a plaque.
